WEEKEND FREE TEMPLATE

I hope you all liked the free fairy doorway last week, and the 15 free border templates from the Blog Hop on Monday 16th February.


I hope you like this weeks free template just as much.


This week I am offering something for both scrappers and cardmakers alike.


This RECORD collection can be used to make a novelty card, or a number of record sleeves can be joined together to make a mini scrapbook album. The records and sleaves are great fun to decorate with the recipients favourite bands and singers, and can of course include photos and text on the round.

Weekly Free Template

Sorry just a quick one this week. My sliceform Grandfather Clock.

This would make a great card/gift for a retirements, but because there is a hidden wee mouse running up the side, it would also make a great nursery rhyme feature for a baby card or scrapbook page.

BRAND NEW SnowGlobe

After the success of my original Christmas Snowglobe launched in August 2008, I have now made a number of improvements:

• the globe now attaches to the base, so even though this can be cut from a different medium, you can still create one joined up sliceform


• more options for inside the sliceform globe have been created including a miniature sliceform teddy and wedding bell, and also a range of dangling charms (ballerina, love heart, angel, flower, 18th and 21st birthday keys)

The final improvement, is a full 10 minute video instruction, although the old photo/written instruction is still available if required.

This template will shortly be available frommy store on Paperthreads.

Meantime, why not check out the video so that you can see that sliceforms are not that scary (but maybe me on video is!!).

Weekly Free Templates

Here we are, Sunday again, and my first whole month of blogging completed.

For the start of February I thought I would remind anyone who doesnt know that I post a free template on my website every weekend, for one week only. This week, I am sharing my Matryoshka Dolls. These are great on a card, a scrapbook page, or just as a fun activity for kids to decorate. They can be identical or entirely different e.g. a family. Two Reasons to Celebrate

For those of you who dont know, today, Sunday 25th January is Rabbie Burns Day. All over Scotland, people will be having a Burns Night Supper. This starts with the famous "address to the haggis", and after dinner there is normally great fun to be had with a Ceilidh (Scottish dancing).

We are having family around for traditional haggis, tatties n neeps, yum yum.

As if that wasnt exciting enough, Monday 26th January is Chinese New Year. I love the colourful decorations associated with this.

To celebrate both events, I have two templates on my website that are free to download for one week only. I hope you have fun with them.

Sunday Update

Well I thought Sunday was meant to be the day of rest, how come it always seems to be my busiest. I have a set routine, which always starts with the ironing....I dont mind that though....I normally watch a film or TV programme to help the time pass. After brunch I get on with updating my website and sorting other craft related tasks. Its often the only chance I get all week to do this.

FREE TEMPLATES

Every weekend I add a free template to my website, today I created a simple lattice mini card, topper, and tag. These are actually all from a font called gridsnthings which works so well for cutting machines.

PAPERTHREADS

Not only was my normal day job extremely busy this week, but int he evenings I was working hard to improve and convert templates to the perfect condition required by Paperthreads. Believe me, any templates you buy from them will be pristene and should cut perfectly in all formats. The whole design team is extremely focussed on this and is amazing at helping each other learn the best methods.
